While known for his comedic skills, few realized that he was a very good amateur boxer and a talented violinist who appeared destined for classical circles. This book, with some facts along with real people and incidents, is largely fiction. It is a 'what if" account of what might happened to his life had he chosen a different career path. It covers his life from the early years in the Jewish Quarter of South Philadelphia as Louis Feinberg, through the early part of the 20th Century, into the Roaring Twenties and up until the month before the global Great Depression hit. It is an affectionate, humorous and hopefully touching look at Larry Fine - a little truth buoyed by a lot of fiction. He was a true Renaissance Man of his times."
