MIKE & MOLLY - This Old Peggy

Air Date/Released Monday, May 12, 2014
Station/Studio CBS / Warner Bros. Television

Chicago cop Mike Biggs meets Molly Flynn at an Overeater’s Anonymous meeting, and the two fall in love. The series chronicles their marriage, while dealing with their weight issues and their caring but dysfunctional families.

When Peggy leaves the water running overnight and her bathtub comes crashing thru the downstairs ceiling, Mike is concerned that it's the latest in a series of incidents showing that his mother is experiencing memory problems, and the family pushes her to get medical help. Mike and his mother discuss the repair work he and his two buddies Carl and Samuel are doing on her house...
Peggy: Look... if it’s too much work for you, Moe and Curly, I’ll hire somebody else.
Mike: That’s not what I’m saying.
Peggy: Then I don’t want to hear any more about it.
Mike: Fine. And just so we’re clear... of the three of us, I’m Moe.
