Comedienne, singer and actress Martha Raye starred in a series of NBC variety specials from 1953 - 1955, and the network awarded her a weekly series in 1955. The weekly series used a musical-variety format to tell a complete, comedic story with a regular cast of characters, including ex-prizefighter Rocky Graziano costarring as her boyfriend.

Jack Carson and Cesar Romero compete as two rich, Texas playboys courting Martha. Joe Besser guest-stars in this episode as a maintenance man who is also lovesick over Martha.
