Paul Garrett (David Brian) is the D.A. of Los Angeles, in this syndicated TV adaptation of the popular radio show, with stories based on actual police cases.

Joe Besser guest stars as Joe Kogan, a harmless but habitual liar who witnesses the death of a bookie's runner in a fatal hit & run accident. Mr. Thompson bears false witness to protect bookie Stevens, and when Stevens learns about Kogan, takes advantage of Joe's reputation to discredit him and later frame him for a jewel robbery.


David Brian was married to Three Stooges supporting actress Adrian Booth, aka Lorna Gray. A close friend of Ted Healy from Broadway when appearing in CRAZY QUILT.
