A three-part retrospective of film, radio and television comedians from the 1920s to the 1960s. It relied heavily on public domain footage. Co-produced by Reader’s Digest Magazine, the special initially aired on the Disney Channel in February 1993 and was then released on VHS as a 3-tape box set.

The Three Stooges received five minutes in this episode (part 2), with a look at their career from the 1920s into the 1940s. In addition to footage from DISORDER IN THE COURT (1936), BRIDELESS GROOM (1947), SING A SONG OF SIX PANTS (1947) and MALICE IN THE PALACE (1949), numerous publicity and promotional photographs are used.
