Gillette Foamy Shaving Cream

Late 1986, Gillette used clips from the Stooges' shorts to promote its Foamy shaving cream. The narration commented on clips of Stooge-style abuse, with "No one really knows how your skin got sensitive, but if it is..." The commercial included clips from NO CENSUS NO FEELING (1940), AN ACHE IN EVERY STAKE (1940), IF A BODY MEETS A BODY (1945), MICRO-PHONIES (1945), THREE LITTLE BEERS (1935) and GENTS WITHOUT CENTS (1944).


Gillette also produced a commercial featuring Abbott & Costello.
