Milk - Less Than 4% Fat

Air Date/Released Tuesday, July 1, 1986
Station/Studio Commercial
Featuring Miscellaneous Appearances

1986, The National Milk Promotion Board's campaign to increase milk consumption in the U.S. resulted in this commercial using popular icons to sell its "tastes good" angle with the slogan "Less Than 4% Fat." Images were selected, showing surprised looks in reaction to the slogan. The Three Stooges appeared in 3 brief clips taken from HORSES' COLLARS (1935) and DIZZY DETECTIVES (1943).

In addition to the Stooges, also appearing were Laurel & Hardy, Popeye, Betty Boop and Our Gang.

Someone at the NMPB must have been a Stooges fan; Curly also appeared in the board's 1999 print and billboard "Got Milk?" campaign.

Cast: Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Curly Howard
