Air Date/Released Sunday, November 4, 1945
Station/Studio ABC (radio)
Host/Star Paul Whiteman
Featuring Joe Besser (Solo)

Sponsor Philco's musical variety series, which also featured pieces of comedy and drama. A revolving lineup of guest hosts included Ted Husing, Ronald Colman, Ronald Reagan, Kathryn Grayson, George Murphy, Carole Landis, Judy Garland and many more.

Broadcast from The Warner Theater in Atlantic City NJ, the program salutes sponsor Philco's new lineup of products. Host Paul Whiteman & His Orchestra start off with "There's a Great Day Coming MaƱana," and introduces comedian Milton Berle who launches into a monologue of rapid-fire jokes. Martha Tilton sings "The Last Time I Saw You." Glenn Riggs tells Milton that he will have better romantic luck with upcoming guest Paulette Goddard if he allies with a dumpy guy that makes him look good... enter, Joe Besser! Milton and Joe engage in snappy banter about Joe's experiences with women. Paulette Goddard comes on stage, spurns Milton's flirting, but advises him on better ways to attract women and to become a more respected actor. Paul Whiteman kids Milton on his lack of musical knowledge, and then salutes the sponsor with his orchestra performing melodies from benchmark years in Philco's history.
