Results are preceded by Young slipping into his FATHER KNOWS BEST role of Jim Anderson, visiting the citizens of fictional Springfield, listening to and observing their opinions and reactions to television programming and commercials.

Joe Besser appears in two roles as Springfield's mailman and milkman.
