Featuring Moe, Larry and Curly
Columbia
79 min. (Feature Film)

Film star Ted Crosley is fed up with Hollywood and quits the movies to enroll in college under a false name, but his manager tips off the press and the school. Ted falls in love with the Dean's daughter Jean, and gets into a rivalry with the school's football hero Biff (Broderick Crawford). While Ted tries to fit in, his managers (Walter Connolly and Jimmy Durante) scheme to have him thrown out so he can return to his Hollywood career.

The Stooges play campus firemen at Midland College.

The most common START CHEERING publicity stills featuring the Stooges show them as the campus firemen, clowning around in the Midland College firehouse. But those scenes were never included in the film, deleted before the final release.

Stooge supporting players Vernon Dent, Eddie Fetherston and Lew Davis each appear in two different roles.

Costar Joan Perry later married Columbia chief Harry Cohn.
